Is it free to join?

Yes — joining Meluvia is free for our founding cohort. We're focused on building the right network first, not monetising it. Founding members get access to introductions, deal flow, and the community at no cost.

Who is Meluvia for?

Meluvia is for ambitious founders at any stage — pre-seed through Series A — and for investors of all types: angels, VCs, and family offices. We're rooted in South Africa but the network is global. If you're building something real or looking to back the next generation of companies, you belong here.

How does the introduction process work?

Once verified, founders receive warm introductions to investors who match their stage, sector, and geography. Investors receive curated deal flow — only founders that have been screened and who match their stated thesis. Every introduction is made personally, not by an algorithm.

How long does it take to hear back?

We review every application personally and respond within 3–5 business days. We read every submission — there's no automated rejection system here.

What makes this different from LinkedIn?

LinkedIn is a public directory. Meluvia is a private, curated network where every member is verified and every introduction is intentional. You won't get cold messages, unsolicited pitch decks, or irrelevant connection requests. Just meaningful connections that are worth your time.

Is this only for South African founders?

Not at all. Meluvia is rooted in South Africa but built for the world. We welcome founders and investors from any country. Our founding cohort already spans multiple continents — the common thread is ambition and quality, not geography.
