What you'll actually see

Only founders who have been personally screened, and who match the thesis you give us. That second part is the one that matters: we would rather send you nothing this month than send you something outside your mandate to look busy. If you invest in consumer brands, you will not receive a B2B SaaS deck from us.

Deal flow is concentrated in fintech, SaaS and B2B software, AI and machine learning, marketplaces, and consumer brands with demonstrated demand, though we don't box ourselves in. Companies are predominantly South African and African, with a growing number of members building from Europe, the Americas and the Gulf.

Angels, venture funds, family offices and corporate venture arms are all welcome. Cheque sizes vary widely across the network and we don't apply a minimum.

Why this deal flow is different

Pre-screened, not aggregated. Every founder has had a conversation with us. We know what stage they're at, rather than what the deck claims.
Context on both sides. Introductions arrive with an honest note on why we think it fits your stated thesis, risks included. We'd rather be useful than persuasive.
Sourced from relationships, not inbound. A meaningful share of the strongest founders in this market never appear in a public pipeline. They arrive through people who know them.
Markets nobody has crowded yet. Companies in markets where competition for deals hasn't bid valuations into orbit, sourced by someone who operates here.

How we make money

Membership, once pricing launches. We do not take a success fee or carry on deals that result from our introductions, from either side. That's deliberate. A success fee would pay us to push deals rather than filter them, which is exactly what would make this network worthless to you.

The kind of matches we make

Our case studies walk through three introductions in detail, including a founder whose business every venture fund correctly declined and who turned out to be a perfect fit for a family office that had told us exactly what it wanted. That's the pattern we're trying to industrialise: the right investor and the right founder failing to find each other for want of anyone doing the matching.
